The year is drawing to a close. There is still so much to do! We have the fashion shanty, and I have been making clothes for Cliche, along with playing music. When does it stop becoming a hobby?
I have been taking a weaving class, and here is my first scarf! I am very proud, and excited to learn yet another way to make fabric. I wanted to shoot a few pictures of the shirt I have on Ship and Shape, head on over and check it out!
And here are some photos of the cardigans that I have at Cliche right now. I love love them. Very comfy and nice for the Holiday cocktail parties...

Margaret took these photos of Elyse and I, and Oakie and I. It was so nice outside, and now Elyse is out of town, on adventures. I miss that little one! I keep thinking I can call her...
Ship and Shape is open, and I am working on some new stuff for Cliche, along with stuff for the fashion shantay. We have a website now... Sashay Shantay!
Also you should check out my friends work, Carly Schoen, Danielle Everine, Lela Horst Baumann,
Emrys Stramer, and Lindsey Rhyner.
All these lovely people are designing for the Sashay Shantay, and we are looking for more submissions. See that website for details.
Well, bedtime,
Rachel.

Ship and Shape
My lovely friends Annika Kaplan, Erin Smith, and Maddy Nye
are starting a website called Ship and Shape. I am going to be
selling a few shirts on the site, along with jewelry from Annika,
and Erin, cards from Maddy, and hand tatted handkerchiefs
from Isa Gagarin.
One of my shirts is hand screen printed by Natalie Mazorol, we collaborated
on a print of writhing snakes. The other has a collar which is hand crocheted
and embroidered, featuring a snake about the neck.
Perfect for holiday shopping!
