Got to pick up my spinning wheel today.  I will post a picture when I buy a camera...need to get a camera!  We were in the Star Tribune too...need to get a copy for mom and dad!  Am excited to get to work today...dissecting pheasant heads, yum!  Feeling much better.

Tuesday Sick Day

Dress Form

I did it!!! I bought a dress form after much deliberating.  I decided on the Ronis Royal Form.  Now I just have to wait.  Please hurry!
Also, I went to a metal show last night at the Blue Nile, and my ears are still ringing.  Should I be nervous?

Today today

We have been busy.  The royal we, that is...
On Thursday there was the MN Fashion buyers event.  It was a neat opportunity to meet people who work in the local fashion scene, and in boutiques. I sold three shirts to Cliche, the gray crop tops, and that was a perfect amount.  I can handle that, while having a bit of an ego boost.  My first sale!

The buyer's event was featured on-line, with a picture of my look and the lovely Colleen.  Lela made the horse head necklace, and Colleen did an AMAZING job modeling.  I couldn't have asked for anything more.  Except to not blush???

Today we met with the stylists.  I am very excited about our ideas.  Red red lips and red eyes.  Messy braids.  Not sure if they can do too much red, because I guess it is hard to get off once on, and the models have to walk twice...but I hope it can be kinda red?  Banshees screaming in the night.

Icy Cold, We Thrive

Have been sewing some, sick some, real sick.  Trying to clean my room so that I resemble a normal person.  It is all itchy, Minnesota dry.  This week I dedicate to non-Voltage sewing.  I need to make this skirt I have been dreaming about.  With snake fabric Natalie printed for me last year...!

Took some photos of the recent stuff I'm working on.  I think I need to get my own camera.  Or model.  Anyway, the top three are a cowl sleeve top and the bottom one is s skirt I pieced together.  I am just now adding the trim.  Crow wing pockets will follow.  You cannot wait...

Here is a photo of some makeup stuff I am interested in.  Maybe I get to play around for the show?? Voltage, that is??  Also I ordered some taxidermy head forms today for my pheasant heads.  Can't wait to get cutting.
